00 / The brief

Comfort you can commit to, priced as one job.

Most bad air conditioning in Greece comes down to wrong sizing, not a bad brand. An oversized unit cools fast, cycles constantly and never dehumidifies properly; an undersized one runs flat out all August and still can't reach setpoint. We work out what each room actually needs and quote the unit that matches it — which is also the cheapest one to run.

1–2 weeks

The unit is the cheap part. Getting the size right is what decides your bill for the next fifteen years.

For heating, a heat pump feeding underfloor pipes is usually the cheapest way to keep a Greek home warm, and the same machine cools in summer and makes hot water year-round. Where a home still runs on old radiators, gas can still be the better call — so we put both running costs side by side in the same quote and let you choose.

01 / Why through us

We import the air conditioning & heat pumps. The agent runs the project.

One supplier prices the units, the piping, the drainage and the controls together — and shows you the running cost before you commit.

01 / 04

Sized before it's quoted

We calculate the load per room from your plans instead of selling you a unit that is one size too big and cycles all winter.

Room-by-room load calculation included

02 / 04

One package, one price

Units, refrigerant piping, drainage, brackets, controls and thermostats land on the same order — no chasing three suppliers mid-install.

Apartments & houses
01

Apartments & houses

Multi-split lets several rooms run off one outdoor unit, so the balcony stays usable and the elevation stays clean. In a renovation, a single heat pump with underfloor heating replaces the boiler, the chiller and the water heater in one move.

Hotels & rooms

Concealed ducted units keep ceilings clean and rooms quiet, and a central system gives the front desk one control panel and per-room billing. We book fixed delivery dates so a refurbishment programme doesn't stall waiting on stock.

Offices & retail

Open floors need zoning that survives the next tenant fit-out. We supply units and controls that can be regrouped without re-piping, plus fresh-air handling where the headcount demands it.

Warehouses & industrial units

A workshop or a storage hall needs air volume, not a domestic split unit bolted to the mezzanine. We spec ducted or rooftop packaged units sized to the ceiling height and the door openings, with staged capacity so the plant isn't running flat out on a mild day.

04 / How to specify it

The decisions that decide the result.

01 / 05

Get the sizing right before you shop

A short load calculation per room settles the output, the unit type and the pipe runs. Everything else — cost, noise, running bills — follows from that number.

02 / 05

Choose the right emitter for a heat pump

Underfloor heating or fan coils make a heat pump cheap to run. Old high-temperature radiators do not. We settle this before we spec the machine.

03 / 05

Price the installation, not just the box

Piping, insulation, drainage and controls are a real share of the job. Quoting them with the units up front avoids the classic mid-install surprise invoice.

04 / 05

Keep the paperwork

Energy labels and commissioning reports are what a subsidy claim, a warranty repair or a future buyer will ask for — we hand them over at completion.

05 / 05

Plan the outdoor units before the facade is finished

Where the condensers sit, how the pipework is boxed in and how noise reaches the neighbours are questions that are far cheaper to answer on the drawing than to fix once the render is on. We position units against the elevation and the site rules before ordering, not after the complaint arrives.

Common mistakes

Buying by rule of thumb

A west-facing top-floor room with big windows needs far more capacity than a shaded room the same size. Guesswork produces oversized units that short-cycle and disappoint.

Pairing a heat pump with old radiators

The machine will run, but the bill won't improve. The right emitters are what make a heat pump worth buying.

Ignoring where the condensate goes

Bad drainage ends up on the room floor or the neighbour's ceiling. We plan the route before the units go up.

Buying air Conditioning & Heat Pumps in Greece
without the usual surprises.

One supplier prices the units, the piping, the drainage and the controls together — and shows you the running cost before you commit. This is the part most suppliers leave out: what we import, how air Conditioning & Heat Pumps should be specified before anyone prices it, where projects lose money, and what our 1–2 weeks lead time actually covers.

01

What we import, and what lands on site

Wall-mounted and ducted inverter splits, multi-split and VRF systems for hotels and offices, and air-to-water heat pumps that carry heating, cooling and hot water on one unit. We size the system from your plans or heat-loss study, quote the full package — units, piping, drainage, controls — and deliver it with the documentation the installer and the energy engineer both need.

Because we buy air Conditioning & Heat Pumps directly from the factories, the range you see is the range we can programme — not a catalogue we hope to source later. In practice that means inverter Wall Splits, multi-Split Systems and ducted & Cassette, each with its own price band and availability, so a specification can be tuned to a budget instead of abandoned.

Sized before it's quoted: we calculate the load per room from your plans instead of selling you a unit that is one size too big and cycles all winter.

02

How air Conditioning & Heat Pumps should be specified before it is priced

Specifying air Conditioning & Heat Pumps well comes down to a short list of decisions taken in the right order — get the sizing right before you shop, choose the right emitter for a heat pump, price the installation, not just the box and keep the paperwork. Taken on paper, these cost nothing. Taken on site, each one is a change order.

We write the specification with you before anything is quoted, so the number you get is for the material that will actually be installed. That means confirmed dimensions and finishes, the right performance class for the space, and quantities that include the waste factor rather than discovering it mid-installation.

The same reference behaves differently depending on where it goes — apartments and houses, hotels and serviced rooms, offices and retail and restaurants and cafes each carry their own requirements, and we specify against the space rather than against a mood image.

Multi-split

One outdoor unit serving several indoor units, for a cleaner facade.

A unit with everything outdoors; only water pipes cross the wall, simplifying installation.

03

Where air Conditioning & Heat Pumps projects lose time and money

Almost every delay we are called in to rescue traces back to the same handful of causes: buying by rule of thumb, pairing a heat pump with old radiators, ignoring where the condensate goes and skipping the commissioning report. None of them are exotic, and all of them are avoidable at specification stage.

Buying by rule of thumb is the most expensive one, because a west-facing top-floor room with big windows needs far more capacity than a shaded room the same size. Guesswork produces oversized units that short-cycle and disappoint.

We have supplied air Conditioning & Heat Pumps into apartments & houses, hotels & rooms and offices & retail, and the pattern is consistent: the projects that run smoothly are the ones where the material was locked before the trades were booked.

Pairing a heat pump with old radiators — checked once on paper, never again on site.

Skipping the commissioning report

No report usually means no warranty support the day something fails. We include it as standard.

04

Lead times, pricing and what we handle

Standard lead time on air Conditioning & Heat Pumps is 1–2 weeks from confirmed specification, and that window covers the whole chain — factory programming, consolidation, transport, customs where applicable and delivery to site or to your warehouse. We quote the landed number, not an ex-works price that grows later.

Pricing is per project rather than per line. Because we import directly and consolidate air Conditioning & Heat Pumps with the rest of the materials for the same room, you get one quote, one delivery window and one point of contact — and the savings show up on the total, not just on a headline reference.

If you already have drawings, send them and we will come back with a specification and a landed price. If you do not, we will build the specification with you first. Either way, nothing is ordered until the quantities, finishes and dates are agreed in writing.

07 / Questions

Frequently asked

Which is cheaper to run — a heat pump or a gas boiler?+

In most Greek climates an air-to-water heat pump running at 35–45°C into underfloor heating beats gas on running cost, because it delivers 3.5–5 kWh of heat per kWh of electricity. Radiators at 60–70°C narrow the gap. We put both numbers in the same quote using your actual tariff.

What size air conditioner do I need per room?+

Rough rule for Greek apartments: about 350–400 BTU per m² for a well-shaded room, more for west-facing glass and top floors. We don't guess — send the plan and we calculate the load per room and specify the unit.

Can one heat pump cover heating, cooling and hot water?+

Yes. An air-to-water unit with a DHW cylinder covers all three, and switches between heating and cooling on the same pipework when the emitters are sized for it.

Do you supply installation as well as equipment?+

We supply the equipment and the full material package, and we coordinate with your installer or introduce a vetted crew where you don't have one. The commissioning report stays with the machine's warranty.

What is the delivery time on project volumes?+

Fast-moving splits ship from stock in 1–2 weeks. Hotel-scale multi-split, VRF and heat pump programmes are confirmed at booking with a fixed date, not an estimate.
