Insulation & building chemicalsImported & distributed

Thermal boards, mineral wool, membranes, adhesives and grouts — the layers nobody sees.

Every finish depends on a layer nobody photographs. We supply thermal insulation, acoustic wool, waterproofing membranes and liquid systems, tile adhesives, grouts, screeds and sealants — specified as a build-up per detail, so the tile, the shower tray and the facade are all sitting on something that was chosen rather than improvised.

00 / The brief

The layers nobody sees are the ones that make a warranty claim or avoid one.

A shower that leaks, a terrace that ponds, a thermal bridge that grows mould at the slab edge — none of these are failures of a single product, they're failures of a build-up that was assembled from mismatched parts. We supply the whole build-up as one compatible, warranted system, so the guarantee actually holds if something does go wrong.

Insulation boards, mineral wool roll, waterproofing membrane and cement adhesive bags on a concrete floor
1–2 wks

Supplied as one warranted system — membrane, board, mesh and adhesive from a single compatible family.

For external thermal insulation, that means the board, dowel, base coat, mesh, primer and finish coat as a warranted system. For wet rooms, a liquid or sheet membrane with matched tapes, collars and drain flanges. For tiling, an adhesive class chosen against the tile format, the substrate and whether the floor is heated.

01 / Why through us

We import the insulation & building chemicals. The agent runs the project.

A leak or a mould line almost never comes from the product — it comes from mixing systems at a junction. We supply the whole build-up as one warranted package.

01 / 04

A warranted system, not loose products

Membrane, board, mesh and adhesive supplied from one compatible system, so the guarantee actually holds if something goes wrong.

Warranty intact, one product family

Facades & external insulation
01

Facades & external insulation

External insulation is the highest-impact energy measure on most Greek buildings and the easiest to install badly. Board type, dowel pattern, mesh embedment and the finish render come from one system with one warranty.

EPS, graphite EPS or mineral wool per fire and λ requirement
Wet rooms & showers
02

Wet rooms & showers

Ninety per cent of shower leaks happen at a junction: floor to wall, pipe penetration, drain flange. The membrane is only as good as the tapes and collars supplied with it.

Liquid or sheet membrane with matched corner tapes
Terraces & roofs
03

Terraces & roofs

A terrace is a roof with furniture on it. Falls to outlets, a drainage layer, insulation rated for compression, and paving on pedestals so water moves under the finish instead of sitting in it.

Compression-rated XPS below trafficked build-ups
Interiors & acoustics
04

Interiors & acoustics

Acoustic performance comes from mass, isolation and sealing — mineral wool in the cavity, resilient bars or hangers, and every perimeter joint sealed with acoustic mastic.

04 / How to specify it

The decisions that decide the result.

01 / 05

Compare λ before you compare thickness

Buy on thickness alone and a balcony reveal that was supposed to stay slim ends up oversized, or the target U-value is missed outright — a redesign, not a swap. Graphite EPS reaches the same performance thinner than standard EPS, which is what makes the reveal work.

02 / 05

Never let a junction mix two manufacturers' systems

Membrane from one supplier and tape from another is an untested joint, and an untested joint is exactly where a warranty claim gets refused after a leak. Systems are supplied complete and warranted as a whole for that reason.

03 / 05

Set adhesive class by format and substrate before tiling starts

The wrong adhesive under a large-format tile over a heated screed is how tiles lift or crack months later — a floor taken up and relaid, not a repair. C2TE S1 minimum with a decoupling layer is part of the tile specification, not an extra.

04 / 05

Detail the thermal bridges explicitly, don't leave them to the installer

Slab edges, balcony connections and window reveals are where insulation gets skipped on site, and that's exactly where mould appears and a complaint follows — after the building is occupied. These junctions are drawn and specified, not left to judgement.

05 / 05

Respect drying and curing times even under programme pressure

Tiling or rendering over a membrane before it has cured is a leak with a delay attached — the defect doesn't show until later, and by then the finish is already in place and has to come out. Each layer's stated cure time is built into the programme.

Common mistakes

Insulating without a vapour control strategy

Warm moist air reaching a cold surface inside the build-up condenses out of sight, and the first sign is a damp patch or mould months after handover — a strip-out, not a touch-up. Vapour control position is decided at design stage.

Skipping the primer to save a line item

Without it, membranes and renders debond from the substrate later rather than failing on day one, turning a small saving into a full re-application.

Building a terrace with no falls and relying on the membrane alone

Waterproofing is not a substitute for drainage. Standing water finds every weak joint eventually, and the leak it causes is discovered inside the building below, not on the terrace.

Insulation & building chemicals, from first quote
to a finished room.

A leak or a mould line almost never comes from the product — it comes from mixing systems at a junction. We supply the whole build-up as one warranted package. This is the part most suppliers leave out: what we import, how insulation & building chemicals should be specified before anyone prices it, where projects lose money, and what our 1–2 wks lead time actually covers.

01

What we import, and what lands on site

Every finish depends on a layer nobody photographs. We supply thermal insulation, acoustic wool, waterproofing membranes and liquid systems, tile adhesives, grouts, screeds and sealants — specified as a build-up per detail, so the tile, the shower tray and the facade are all sitting on something that was chosen rather than improvised.

Because we buy insulation & building chemicals directly from the factories, the range you see is the range we can programme — not a catalogue we hope to source later. In practice that means thermal insulation, acoustic & mineral wool and waterproofing, each with its own price band and availability, so a specification can be tuned to a budget instead of abandoned.

A warranted system, not loose products: membrane, board, mesh and adhesive supplied from one compatible system, so the guarantee actually holds if something goes wrong.

02

How insulation & building chemicals should be specified before it is priced

Specifying insulation & building chemicals well comes down to a short list of decisions taken in the right order — compare λ before you compare thickness, never let a junction mix two manufacturers' systems, set adhesive class by format and substrate before tiling starts and detail the thermal bridges explicitly, don't leave them to the installer. Taken on paper, these cost nothing. Taken on site, each one is a change order.

We write the specification with you before anything is quoted, so the number you get is for the material that will actually be installed. That means confirmed dimensions and finishes, the right performance class for the space, and quantities that include the waste factor rather than discovering it mid-installation.

The same reference behaves differently depending on where it goes — wet rooms, terraces & balconies, facades and roofs each carry their own requirements, and we specify against the space rather than against a mood image.

ETICS

λ (lambda)

Thermal conductivity in W/mK; lower means better insulation per millimetre.

Vapour control layer

Membrane that limits moisture migration into a cold part of the build-up.

XPS

Extruded polystyrene, high compressive strength, used under trafficked terraces.

03

Where insulation & building chemicals projects lose time and money

Almost every delay we are called in to rescue traces back to the same handful of causes: insulating without a vapour control strategy, skipping the primer to save a line item, building a terrace with no falls and relying on the membrane alone and treating acoustic and thermal insulation as interchangeable. None of them are exotic, and all of them are avoidable at specification stage.

Insulating without a vapour control strategy is the most expensive one, because warm moist air reaching a cold surface inside the build-up condenses out of sight, and the first sign is a damp patch or mould months after handover — a strip-out, not a touch-up. Vapour control position is decided at design stage.

We have supplied insulation & building chemicals into facades & external insulation, wet rooms & showers and terraces & roofs, and the pattern is consistent: the projects that run smoothly are the ones where the material was locked before the trades were booked.

Skipping the primer to save a line item — checked once on paper, never again on site.

Treating acoustic and thermal insulation as interchangeable

A mineral wool chosen for its λ value can under-perform acoustically, and the reverse is also true — the two properties are specified separately even when the product category looks the same on the shelf.

04

Lead times, pricing and what we handle

Standard lead time on insulation & building chemicals is 1–2 wks from confirmed specification, and that window covers the whole chain — factory programming, consolidation, transport, customs where applicable and delivery to site or to your warehouse. We quote the landed number, not an ex-works price that grows later.

Pricing is per project rather than per line. Because we import directly and consolidate insulation & building chemicals with the rest of the materials for the same room, you get one quote, one delivery window and one point of contact — and the savings show up on the total, not just on a headline reference.

If you already have drawings, send them and we will come back with a specification and a landed price. If you do not, we will build the specification with you first. Either way, nothing is ordered until the quantities, finishes and dates are agreed in writing.

07 / Questions

Frequently asked

How are insulation and building chemicals priced?+

Pricing is per m² of coverage against the specified detail, calculated from consumption rates so the quote reflects what the site actually needs, not a rough estimate.

Is there a minimum order for boards, membranes or adhesive?+

No fixed minimum for standard bags and rolls; facade and roof projects are quantified and ordered as one batch to keep the system consistent.

Do you hold insulation and building chemicals in stock?+

Common boards, adhesives and membranes are held locally, with specific thicknesses and facade systems programmed at 1–2 weeks.

Can you calculate quantities from my drawings?+

Yes, send the detail drawings or areas and we return a per-m² take-off for boards, membrane, adhesive and grout, with wastage included.

Which adhesive should I use for large-format porcelain?+

A C2TE S1-class flexible adhesive with the correct trowel notch and coverage; we state both in the quote so the tiler has no ambiguity.

Can you specify the full build-up for a wet room?+

Yes, primer, liquid membrane, tapes, adhesive and grout are quoted as one compatible system with quantities calculated per m².

Does keeping products within one brand family matter for warranty?+

It does. Where a system warranty depends on it, we keep the membrane, adhesive and finish within one manufacturer family rather than mixing products.

Do you supply facade insulation as a complete system?+

Yes, including boards, mechanical fixings, reinforcing mesh, base coat and finishing render, quoted together as one facade package.

Do you deliver building chemicals and insulation to sites across Greece?+

Yes, we supply trade contractors and private clients nationwide, with delivery timed to match the build programme on site.
